Primary Objectives

1. To assist potential students to find suitable foreign universities for their higher studies.
    
2. To establish and carry on an institute or institutes where students may obtain an education in computer science, computer programming and programming languages, computer engineering, business, electrical and electronic engineering, computer hardware, hardware development, software and hardware sales, systems design, commercial and scientific software development, networking and communications systems, factory and office automation and information technology.
    
3. To provide for the delivery and holding of various types of advanced diplomas, degrees, masters in Business/Technology and PhD courses in computer studies, lectures, classes and conferences, public meetings calculated directly or indirectly to advance the courses of computer education whether general, professional or technical.
    
4. To affiliate with foreign universities in conducting postgraduate programs in business and information technology & other related areas.
    
5. To promote the study, practice and knowledge of computers and other related sciences through oral audio-visual and computer-based methods, to arrange exhibitions and other demonstrations in connection therewith and to sponsor and conduct conferences, seminars and group studies, to give prizes and awards.
    
6. To provide for the conduct of examinations as may be determined from time to time.
    
7. To carry on the business of recruiting skilled employees in computer science for employment by customers of the company and its subsidiary companies in Sri Lanka and other countries and to negotiate contracts for the supply of same.
    
8. To support business and IT related researchers incorporating private and public sector partners.

Executive Board Members

Dr. Dayan Rajapakse, Managing Director MBBS, MBCS, MACS, MCS, MIEEE
	Dr. Dayan is the Managing Director and CEO of ESOFT Computer Studies (Pvt) Ltd, which is a leading higher education institution in Sri Lanka. He is also the Managing Director of ESOFT International Education. Dr. Dayan started his career as a Medical Doctor but pursued an active interest that he had for IT. After obtaining his qualifications in IT, he was engaged as a popular visiting lecturer for many IT courses, and eventually established ESOFT. He is a well known Academic in Sri Lanka and is best known for the teaching that he does for the BCS Professional Examinations in IT. He is a member of the BCS (MBCS), the IEEE (MIEEE) as well as ACS (MACS). He is also a member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL) and is also on the Council of the CSSL as the Student Counselor.
Dr. Prasanna Lokuge, Director / CEO Ph.D (Monash), M.Sc. (Compu.Sc), PG.Dip.(Comp.Tec), B.Sc, PMP, MPMI, MBCS, CITP, MACS, MCS(SL)
	Dr. Prasanna Lokuge was the immediate past president of the Sri Lanka computer Society (CSSL). He has over twenty years ICT experience in high growth public and private sector organizations both in Sri Lanka and abroad. After completing his B.Sc., he obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Technology and M.Sc. in Computer Science from Colombo University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Monash University, Australia specializing in Artificial Intelligent Architectures. He has worked as a Lecturer at Monash University and Central Queensland University. He was also a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of IT, University of Moratuwa. He is a chartered member of the BCS and holds the membership of the ACS and the CSSL. He is also a member of the PMI, USA and a professional Project Manager (PMP). Prasanna is also an MIS consultant for ADB and World Bank funded projects. He has published many research papers in international journals, book chapters and conferences. Presently he is working as a Consultant for IT & Port Automation in Europe and Asia.
Mr. Nishan Sembacuttiaratchy , Director / COO M.Sc (IT), B.Sc (Hons), MBCS, MCS, MIEEE
	Mr. Nishan is an experienced IT practitioner who has worked in several organisations in implementations as well as management capacities. He heads his own Software Development firm, and is also the General Manager of ESOFT Computer Studies. He has a B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Computing and IS from the London Metropolitan University, UK and a Masters in IT from Charles Sturt University, Australia. He is currently reading for his Ph.D in the field of Project Management. He is a member of the BCS (MBCS), the IEEE (MIEEE), the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL), and the Association for Computing Machinery.
